Game 62: Trial #2

"You all know what time it is! TRIAL TIME! Please report to the trial room immediately!"

Sakurada then shouted back: "NO! I'M DONE WITH YOUR STUPID GAME!"

"Oh? So soon? Fine! I will end it for you!"

With that, a spear flew out of the wall, stabbing her in the left shoulder and pulling her inside a small gap into the wall. Once inside, a Plexiglas wall fell behind her so you could all still see what was happening to her. Water began pouring in a she pounded on the Plexiglas. But, it was no use. Within about three minutes, she had drowned. Then, the wall was replaced and back to normal.

"On with the trial! I will go ahead and say...SAKURADA IS INNOCENT!"

The trial doors opened up and everyone went inside. The heavy doors locked shut behind you all. You take your spots in your trial stands. Nearly half of you had died. And now you had to execute one more. Who killed Lunar? Also, Jay had still not returned from trying to hunt Jaykuma down. Was he alright?

"Oh...and one more thing!"

The television cut back on, showing Jay tied up, locked to a chair. He was gagged and so could not say a word. Tears flowed down his cheeks as he struggled to escape.

"If you guys fail, not only will the Wheel be spun, but your teacher will be executed as well! Good luck! Remember, participation is mandatory unless you want to be executed!"

Akama appears still strange. "Im here killer teacher! Oh, you gonna kill that nice teacher. Kyahaha!" He sneezes. "W-what the? Oh no! Don't kill him! We will find out who the culprit is. Ok, what caused Lunar to be killed by..? Could it be a knife, or a needle..?"

"...Did you not even bother to look at the Jaykuma report? Lunar's COD was exsanguination, which means he was drained of blood. So, either the killer attacked him with a vacuum, or...they used a sharp weapon!"

"Oh, and I know what you guys are thinking. Kiyondo totally could have done it, because he has a sharp weapon. He attacked Lunar with the knife he confiscated from Benite yesterday and fled to wherever afterwards... Well, that's where you're wrong! You see...this little knife here has some formaldehyde on it. Now, where would you find formaldehyde in this building...? Oh, I know! The Bio Lab!"

"That's right everyone! I was dissecting a frog in the biology lab before Lunar's murder, and since this knife smells of formaldehyde, I couldn't have washed it of Lunar's blood and run up two flights of stairs to put more preservative on it. Therefore, I think it's a fair assumption to say I'm not the killer here, right? I welcome anyone to challenge my claim, if you can... But bear in mind, I have a witness who can vouch I did cut open a frog earlier in the night..."


**Kiyondo's Stinky Knife Added to Verbal Bullet Arsenal**

((A note about this. I didn't realize slime on the frog's skin was removed with formaldehyde. So the knife wasn't slimy. But we can assume the knife smells of the preservative. Forgive me!!!!))

"Uh.. Why do we suspect you killed Lunar, Kiyotaka? Anyway, I'll tell you what I have to say. When I was in the storage room last night, I noticed I cut myself and wrote 'Killer Koja' and I didnt even do it. I was afraid that the kunai is possessed so I left it there.. By the time I got to my dorm, I wrote two letters to Reimei and Lunar and slid them under their dorm. By the time I got to my dorm and waited for them, I searched for Reimei, but not found. Then, I found Lunar and gave info about the killer I know outside of this place is probably here. Thats it.. Im sure Reimei can trust me about the gym storage."

"Why the hell am I not surprised you found a way to meet with the victim, again? But, do you have any sort of proof that you cut yourself? And also, how could you slip Reimei a note in her dorm if you couldn't even get into the female dorms? Your handbook won't let you in there, whether you like it or not."

"But anyways, I decided to check out the Infirmary, and I noticed there were some missing blood bags, scalpels, and some elastic bandages."

"Akama, are you saying you saw Lunar? What did you do after you told him about this supposed 'killer'? I also wanted to say that from my investigation results, I can say that the Trash room was not used, and the kitchen room had no more knifes that were missing."

Caution chuckled to himself, broodingly.

"Well, all right everyone. I know the trial's only just begun, but hello. I'm the most suspicious person in this room. Nice to meet you. I also know who the killer is, and that's very suspicious too. I can almost guarantee I even procured the murder weapon.

So if anyone's interested in my little story, well it's a shame I can't give you all of the details right away. I'm going to need a full account of 2 people's actions last night before I present the information, as we need to be 100% sure that there's no bias or changing of stories. I can guarantee it will bring the killer's identity to light. Which applies to me too. That's why I've told one person here absolutely everything including the killer's identity.

So, until Benite and Haruhi have told us everything, then I refuse to give you the information I've been keeping from all of you. And considering the solid alibi it gives the three of us, nobody here will have to lie, so I suggest you don't. In fact, Benite already has an alibi, so he doesn't need to lie. When I left the Laundry Room (I'll get to this later), the body wasn't there. When I came back just behind Benite, we found the body. I was heading in the direction of the storage room when I saw him walking back that way and looped around behind him. There's no way he could just teleport from the Laundry Room door to the Storage Room's general area.


So, hurry up. Haruhi and Benite, give your full account of events. Also, Haruhi... if you don't mind, any information you have on the physical conditions of both myself and the victim would be greatly appreciated.

Since one person knows my full story, if I change it based on what either of you say, they'll know about it. So you're safe there."

"Sigh... Yes I can confirm what we found in the Gym Storage and we found a bloody kunai there and the message 'Killer Koja' there though I'm not really sure if it has any relevance to this case..."



"A note? I never found any in my room and I was staying in my room for the whole night..."



"And just to reiterate what I said earlier. I claim my innocence in this case since I was already the blackened last trial and have no reason to murder anymore."

"Wait, did they even receive their notes? I did gave it to them or was I..? Argh! 'He' keeps controlling me!!"

"I see. It makes sense you would suspect me, since I suppose you threw a brick at me last night. Since the first night, our lovely hall monitor came and foiled my prank, I decided that I needed to fulfill my plans. I woke up in the infirmary, and walked to the School Store to grab a paint brush and scissors. There, I saw you and Ishimaru enter, with Ishimaru grabbing a wristwatch. Then, I walked with Akama to his dorm, and once he entered his room, I cut open the blood bags and painted the doorposts with blood. I went to the Storage room to get some candles for my Satanic Ritual, and on the way inside, I saw Akama strangely looking around for someone, who I believe was Lunar. Haruhi tried to confiscate my candles as if I was going to use them for malicious purposes, so of course I threatened her with the scissors I had. Then you came and threw a brick at me. Thanks for that. Then, I picked up the candles and the scissors that I dropped from getting hit in the head, and as I walked out towards the Boy Dorms, I saw Caution walking towards me, and Lunar lying down face down in his own blood, and before I could collect his blood, I was put to sleep via gas."

"And I do so apologize for hitting you with a brick. At the time, I saw you chasing a schoolgirl with a pair of scissors, and she was running and screaming about being stabbed. Of course, I didn't want to be stabbed either, so I reacted out of instinct. I'm just glad it didn't bring you further harm."

"I also wanted to say, that I have reasons to believe that Lunar was hungry before his death, as I found out he thought this: "Need food.", so he could've been going to the kitchen. Also, since we found out that Akama was lying about the notes, what were you doing in your room? Also, you did have a weapon the whole time? And it was found bloody? That makes you very suspicious Akama."

"I-I did too, but I ignore cause I was in need of help. P-plus, it is, but I didnt do it! Reimei should understand me."

"Hold on a second, Benite. Are you seriously saying that you saw the dance instructor walking away from the corpse?"

"Well, Caution. You were right about one thing. You are quite the suspicious lad, indeed! Can anyone that checked the corpse confirm whether or not the murder weapon was left at the scene? If it was, then things aren't looking good for you, Caution..."
